FROM ONE PARENT TO ANOTHER

Before I built Oatle Kids,
I was teaching my own.

I’m Ntombi, a homeschooling parent and the CEO of Oatle Technologies, a software development agency. But this project started with my children, long before it became something I could share with other families.

I’ve been teaching my children since they were born. As they’ve grown, I’ve helped them recognise letters, build words, put sentences together and make sense of numbers. These are some of the foundations I’ve been working on with them to prepare them for Grade 1.

Oatle Kids brings those ways of learning into an app. It’s my way of sharing what I’ve been doing with my own children and giving other parents a place to start teaching theirs.

I want you to feel that you can be part of your child’s learning. Sit beside them, talk through a word, help them build a sentence, and give them time to try again. The app gives you activities to explore; the time you spend together is yours.

A FEW THINGS PARENTS ASK

Before you blast off.

Something else on your mind?

Who is Oatle Kids for?

The app has Little Explorers activities for ages 2–3 and learning adventures for ages 4–7. These are starting points; choose activities that suit your child and support them as they explore.

What device can we use?

Open Oatle Kids in a modern browser on a phone, tablet or computer. You can also install the web app on supported devices.

Do we need an internet connection?

You need internet to create an account, sign in and set up access. The app supports offline caching after loading, but keep a connection available for account and payment features.

Is this a school or a formal assessment?

No. Oatle Kids offers activities for practising early learning skills with a parent or caregiver. It does not replace teaching, professional assessment or individual learning support.

How do access and payments work?

Create a parent account, then use the access screen to subscribe or redeem a valid promo code. We are finalising subscription checkout. For access, billing or cancellation questions, email info@oatle-technologies.co.za.
